Pranešime bus pristatyta FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) duomenų samprata ir jų svarba bei santykis su Europos atvirojo mokslo debesimi. Remiantis svarbiausiu principu, kad duomenys turi būti tiek atviri, kiek įmanoma, o uždar tik tiek, kiek būtina bus svarstomas poreikis ir galimybės versti paprastus duomenis FAIR duomenimis bei su tuo su susijusi mokslinių duomenų ir mokslinių tyrimų kultūros slinktis. Bus remiamasi Europos atvirojo mokslo debesies deklaracija (EOSC Declaration) ir kitais susijusiais Europos Komisijos dokumentais.

The presentation deals with the concept and value of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data, the principle of FAIRness and its impact to the European Open Science Cloud. Based on the leading principle that data should be as open as possible and as closed as necessary, the need and possibility to turn data into FAIR data will be discussed from the point of view of its influence to the change in both data and research culture.
